THE DESIGNER

Lucian Matis is a Romanian-born, Toronto-based multi-talented artist best known for his clothing design consisting of elegant creations of daywear and eveningwear with couture-quality embellishment that are all made locally in our Toronto studio. Since the launch of his first collection in 2007, his designs have been featured in national and international publications, including FASHION and WWD, and worn by celebrities and VIPs like Nelly Furtado, Iman and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. He was most recently invited by Queen Elizabeth and representing the Canadian Fashion Industry in partnership with the Nigerian Omba Arts Trust at the EcoAge 2018 Gala at the Buckingham Palace. Lucian Matis is carried at specialty boutiques across Canada, United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Middle East.
